Children

Today children are being raped and exploited, men, women and children are selling their bodies for drugs. Alcoholics and drug addicts are living on our streets. Three major religions are, as we speak, promoting it's ideology proclaiming it's okay to go to war and kill anyone who has a contrary religious belief, all in the name of Allah or Jehovah. Gas is four dollars a gallon, poor folks are struggling to feed themselves and their families, on a minimum wage job. Our prisons a packed, understaffed and under-funded. 

And the news story of the day is who our new National Basketball Champion is. Or who's winning the FIFA matches. 

Nothing about anything I wrote up top. 

Sadness. Heavy heart. What can a leper like me do? ..... I can pray.

God hear my prayer: "I pray that everyone, everywhere realizes the purpose of divinity within them and within nature around them. I pray for the cessation of misery and sorrow and for the attainment of supreme happiness. Increase my love for you so that I can better serve you, day to day. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you, oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer."
