I have been with The Syda Foundation for over twenty years. They have a Prison Project course that they send to prisoners free of cost. I have learned so much from them. One day there was a message that read, "Love others". Now I had been raised a Christian, so I was familiar with this message, the message of Jesus. But for some reason up until Gurumayi, quoting Baba Muktananda, did it become clear to me. When she transferred her Shakti (Holy Spirit) to me, it touched me and changed my whole way of thinking. I am a believer and proudly accept her as my spiritual teacher, my Guru. Not an easy thig for a Christian to do. But I now understand Hinduism in ways few others do and it is in perfect symmetry with the teachings of Christ. I could write a book on this, but it ain't necessary ... all you have to do is pray and ask God to open your heart to a Universal truth.
